If a blind person doesn’t have a convenient, reliable way to write, file, and retrieve information he/she cannot be independent and competitive in today’s complex society. This house is primarily dedicated to addressing that challenge.

We will discuss ways of recording and retrieving information in Braille, as well as UEB and Braille technology products.

All are welcome, but the focus will always be channeled to a discussion of Braille. There are other places to discuss voice recording products so that will not be a focus in this space.

I have a sister house called Crowd Sourced Blindness Solutions and that space will entertain a wider subject matter. I particularly request that members in this house respect the efforts others are making to master Braille. Judgement of the competence of others will not be tolerated here. Some will be using this space to practice their Braille reading skill; those with better skills are encouraged to help or go elsewhere.
