Media On The Table is a space to discuss the ever-evolving business of the entertainment industry focused on theater, film, television, and streaming. Our discussions range from covering the content creators and the C-suite executives to what we can learn from viewing figures and box office data, as well as after-show discussions and reviews of films and TV series. 

By extension, Media On The Table covers the developments within the print, digital, and audio media world. We wish to keep people aware of how magazines, newspapers, digital news sites, and podcasting are reshaping themselves by pulling the curtain back on the people behind the media. 

All in all, Media On The Table provides an intelligent space for intelligent people across the entertainment and media sectors. 

Plus, this is a great space to support one another in developing and growing your own media ideas and media brands. 

As members of this house, you are free to open rooms and invite others to join a room, even non-house members. Outside guests will receive a one-time ticket for admission. 

Note: Media On The Table is an extension of www.ahotset.com an entertainment trade publication focused on people of color in the entertainment industry, in which we also have a currently infrequent podcast of the same name. 

Rules:
1. Be respectful. Racist, sexist, anti-LGBTQIA+, or other discriminatory behavior is not allowed. Members who engage in said behavior will be removed. 

2. Rooms are for discussing entertainment industry and media topics only. We're not here to discuss domestic politics, foreign policy, social issues, or other non-house-related subjects. Although politics may come up in the business of news discussions. In that case, make sure it is relevant to the topic.

3. Be discerning with who you invite as a guest for a room. We wish to minimize the possibility of trolls, provocateurs, and other unsavory personalities. 

4. A good debate is acceptable. Yet agreeing to disagree at the end of the day is fine. 

5. Keep your personal issues with others outside. 

6. Don't promote your outside clubs, rooms, and house in this house. However, you can promote the rooms you plan to have here. 

Leaving The House: 
If you wish to leave this house, click the three dots in the corner of the house hallway. If you leave, it will be permanent and you cannot be invited back.  So, make sure you know that you want to leave (no problems if you do).
