രക്തദാനം മഹാദാനം
* രക്തദാനത്തിനു വരുമ്പോൾ ചുമ, പനി, മുറിവ് തുടങ്ങി യാതൊരു അണുബാധയും പാടില്ല.
* ആസ്ത്മ, അപസ്മാരം, ഹൃദ്രോഗം, വൃക്കരോഗം തുടങ്ങിയ രോഗമുള്ളവർക്ക് രക്തദാനം പാടില്ല.
* ശസ്ത്രക്രിയകൾ കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ ഒരു വർഷം കഴിഞ്ഞും രക്തദാനം നടത്താം.
* പച്ചകുത്തുകയോ രക്തം സ്വീകരിക്കുകയോ, പേ വിഷബാധയ്ക്ക് കുത്തിവെപ്പെടുക്കുകയോ ചെയ്താൽ ഒരു വർഷം കഴിഞ്ഞ് രക്തദാനം ചെയ്യാം.
* പതിനെട്ടു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഒരാൾക്ക് 65 വയസ്സുവരെ രക്തദാനം നടത്താം. ആദ്യത്തെ രക്തദാനം നടത്താനുള്ള ഉയർന്ന പ്രായപരിധി 60 വയസ്സാണ്.
Willing to donate blood: Anyone between 18 and 65 years of age and in normal health having a body weight of 45 kg or more and a haemoglobin content no less than 12.5 gms/hundred ml can be a donor.
Blood Group: A person with any blood group can join this club.
should be a voluntary blood donor: Selling or donating blood in exchange for money is illegal under the National Blood Transfusion Services Act 2007 and those found convicted may face a prison sentence of up to three months with fine.
