Project Coordinator for CABWHP . Has a background in Women’s Studies and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. My research with the CSU Sacramento McNair Scholars and Pathways Fellowship centered on Maternal and Infant Health Disparities and creating access to culturally competent healthcare providers and resources. Served as an intern for Vice-President Kamala Harris, where I assisted in the preparation of the Maternal Health Bill, as well involved in policy and practice for women and veterans. A Desert Storm Veteran serving in the US Army, Graduate of CSU Sacramento with a Masters of Arts in Behavioral Science with a focus in Gender Equity. I’m a Midwife Assistant and community Doula in Sacramento.
