Singer-Songwriter Music Therapy student Maryland Sabria Larae creates music based on real-life experiences that many of us face. Her single “Living”, based on her past experience with depression, anxiety, and self-esteem received a silver award in the 33rd Mid-Atlantic Song Contest. Living translates to her gaining the strength to tune out the whispers of her negative and self-doubting thoughts. The rising star has been featured on ABC's "The Platform" TV Show, as well as WUSA 9's "DMV Soundcheck". She has also been invited to perform at D.C.'s Beat The Streets, D.C.'s Porch Feast, and Union Stage. Sabria is currently writing and recording new music to entertain, heal, and inspire others.
