QD ( AKA Glittery L nickname on CH ) is a Swedish multi-genre talented based topliner, singer-songwriter, actress & performer from Stockholm, Sweden 🇸🇪. With a love and passion for melodic, catchy tune of pop music. Her music is a mix of raw honesty with a gripping story telling, dreamy & europhoric synths, rythmic hard beats & distorted grungy guitars with a touch of punk. She’s inspired by DJ’s, producers, artists and bands like Max Martin, Gryffin, Jerro, Audien, Avery, Betty Who, Molly Sandén, Justin Bieber, Le Kid, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Epica, Nightwish, Whitin Temptation, Jojo Siwa & Mariah Carey. - I love honest & well-written lyrics often made by singer-songwriters myself and that’s what I’m trying to reflect in my music too. Her almost ”producer ear hearing ”like for all the tiny, small details, the dynamic & nuances in music she got from when she studied classical music in Lilla Akademien. Just only at the age of 3 years old she learned how to play violin & had Nina Balabina as her teacher. She began to write poetry at the age of 11 after finding her new love for writing poems in school and couple years later it developed into songwriting. At the age of 15 she participated with the emotional ballad ”När löven faller” by the swedish artist Carola Häggkvist for COMVIQ’s singing competition at Ung 08:a, now a days We are Stockholm festival and came at the second place. QD has studied theatre, film acting thechnique & masterclasses in acting at Calle Flygare Theatre School in Stockholm. She’s a trained actress in Method Acting & were trained by Mairo Burnette. In 2008 QD studied songwriting in Pop music for the Swedish songwriter Aleena Gibson ( Nick Carter, S-Club 7, Austin Mahone, Isac Elliot, Molly Sandén etc ). She’s a trained vocalist & has studied vocal singing & technique in pop music at Voice Centre in Stockholm.
