Patrizia De Corato is an Assistant Professor in Accounting and Audit at the Lebanese Public University. She holds a PhD in Business Economics and Financial Intermediaries from UNIFE Università degli Studi di Ferrara 2014 (Italy). She is a Business partner at La Fiducia for Business Consultancy (www.la-fiducia.com) and a Chief Financial Officer at Maronite Social Institution (Patriarchal Social Fund). Patrizia is an active researcher in the field of Intangibles in Industry and she is interested more specifically in the Business Reporting of Intangibles (IAS 38), Intellectual Capital Reporting and Extra financial Information. She has participated in International Interdisciplinary Workshops EIASM on Intangibles and presented a number of research papers in Warsaw Poland (September 2011) in collaboration with Kozminski University, UNIFE and CIRAMAP, in Grenoble France (September 2012) in collaboration with Grenoble Ecole de Management, UNIFE and Research Pole Immatériels, and in Denmark CBS Copenhagen Business School (September 2013) in collaboration with WICI Europe. She held an academic position as Head of Accounting and Audit department at LU Lebanese Public University (2019-2020-2021). Her teaching experience (in three different languages) covers Cost Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Cost Management & Audit (MBA’s program), Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting under IFRS, General principles of Accounting, Portfolio Management, and Management of Financial Institutions.
