I started as a civil engineer in JiangXi province which is southern east of mainland China. I immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 2000 by myself and my family still back in China. I did many jobs in Canada including social worker, union worker and worked for political campaigns. I moved to Oklahoma City, US to start career as Java/J2EE developer and then Silver Spring, MD. I have lived in Los Angeles for almost 14 years. I am mainly backend developer specializing in Java, AWS, some experience with node.js, severless. I started to expose to other opportunities especially starting own business or side hassle. I am interested in meeting new people and make new friends. LA has become very expensive and I am starting to prepare for early retirement if I can afford.
