πŸ’ΌπŸ€–πŸŽ¨ Digital Strategy Advisor at AARP in Washington, D.C. I am blessed to have the freedom in my role in Digital Strategy & Membership to traverse the triangle between my unit, our IT group, and our innovation lab. Fun things I’ve done: attended CES countless times, sponsor liaison of the MIT Media Lab and Stanford MediaX in the 00s. Before my current role, I worked in user experience design at a large insurance company on Wall Street and was adjunct faculty in digital design at the Maryland Institute College of Art in the 90s. πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§πŸ“·πŸ” πŸ‘ŸπŸ•πŸ”₯πŸ“± Dad, husband, avid photographer, telescope tinkerer, runner, camper, Burner, mobile device addict. πŸ’»πŸ§’πŸ½πŸŒ Consulted and volunteered for the non-profit Lubuto Library Partners which led me to a grant from USAID to deploy OLPC XO laptops at children’s libraries in Lusaka, Zambia. πŸ‘ŸπŸ Races: 13.1x6, 26.2x2. In 2015, I was featured in the Runner’s World column β€œHow Running Changed Me.” πŸš€πŸ›°πŸͺπŸ›Έ In recent years, I’ve been rediscovering the space geekiness of my youth when I interned at National Geographic, the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum and was a tour guide at the NASA Goddard Spaceflight Center. πŸ§ πŸ”Ž Curious about everything. ☯️ He/him πŸ‘πŸ½ Views mine.
