πΌπ€π¨ Digital Strategy Advisor at AARP in Washington, D.C. I am blessed to have the freedom in my role in Digital Strategy & Membership to traverse the triangle between my unit, our IT group, and our innovation lab. Fun things Iβve done: attended CES countless times, sponsor liaison of the MIT Media Lab and Stanford MediaX in the 00s. Before my current role, I worked in user experience design at a large insurance company on Wall Street and was adjunct faculty in digital design at the Maryland Institute College of Art in the 90s. π¨βπ©βπ§π·π πππ₯π± Dad, husband, avid photographer, telescope tinkerer, runner, camper, Burner, mobile device addict. π»π§π½π Consulted and volunteered for the non-profit Lubuto Library Partners which led me to a grant from USAID to deploy OLPC XO laptops at childrenβs libraries in Lusaka, Zambia. ππ Races: 13.1x6, 26.2x2. In 2015, I was featured in the Runnerβs World column βHow Running Changed Me.β ππ°πͺπΈ In recent years, Iβve been rediscovering the space geekiness of my youth when I interned at National Geographic, the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum and was a tour guide at the NASA Goddard Spaceflight Center. π§ π Curious about everything. β―οΈ He/him ππ½ Views mine.
