I hope it has opened the eyes of the art world in a manner that provides a sustainable and functioning marketplace for black artists. I am encouraged by the notoriety and long overdue recognition many black artists are receiving I just hope the entire ecosystem maintains this trajectory with a diversity focus and doesn’t allow it to lapse over time. Black artist have always been here, we just got some “new” folks who may see this time as an opportunity. How do you see yourself as a collector? I see my self more as a builder than a collector now.
