Crissy Johnson, a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, is a multifaceted leader, balancing her roles as a devoted wife, mother, Corporate America professional, author, and entrepreneur. In her professional capacity, Crissy is an accomplished program analyst for an affiliate of a Historically Black College and University (HBCU) and serves as the creative director of Product Label Queen, a business she founded to help health and beauty brands with label design and FDA compliance. Additionally, she is the executive director of the MomAdvocate Foundation, her Virginia-based Nonprofit Organization dedicated to supporting families coping with childhood cancer. Launched in 2020, the MomAdvocate Foundation has become a cornerstone in the community, offering vital resources and support to families affected by pediatric cancer. Crissy describes the foundation’s mission as providing “maximum positive effort” for childhood cancer families while “Planting Seeds of Awareness” about the disease. Her passion for advocacy led to the launch of MomAdvocate Magazine in September 2024, further expanding her reach to all mothers facing life’s challenges. Crissy’s journey into advocacy began in 2017, when her one-year-old son, David, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a form of pediatric cancer. This life-altering experience inspired her to chronicle her emotional and physical struggles in Fighting for King David, a memoir that shares her personal story of resilience and determination. She is also the visionary behind Residue of War: Testimonies of Mothers Who Fought and Won Battles on Behalf of Their Children, an anthology that highlights the powerful and heart-wrenching stories of mothers overcoming immense challenges on behalf of their children. Residue of War became an Amazon best-seller in December 2021. Crissy’s creative endeavors don’t stop there. She recently published a children’s book, David’s Super Friends vs. Cancer, and has co-authored several other books. Her work is driven by a commitment to inspire others through transparency, courage, and faith. As she often says, “Plant a seed of awareness and watch it grow. Share your story—someone is waiting to hear from you.” www.productlabelqueen.com www.momadvocatefoundation.org Facebook @momadvocatefoundation Pinterest @productlabelqueen Cashapp: $crissysdesigns 🗺 Virginia
