I have been a Nurse for the last 10 years working in a variety of different settings including Elderly care, Mental health Services, Learning disabilities, Spinal Injuries, Acquired Brain Injuries. ❤️ . After suffering from extreme burn out, I was forced to concentrate on my own self care which led me to become attuned to Reiki. Reiki helped me dramatically and I was able to focus on my own healing journey which helped me recover from depression and anxiety that I had been taking medications for to manage it for nearly 15 years! 🥰 . I decided I wanted to bring this healing to others and was next led to Angel Reiki which is another beautiful healing modality 🧚‍♀️ . After always wanting to be a Midwife, I decided it was time to follow my dreams and completed my Doula training. Becoming a Doula seemed like the right option for me as I enjoy giving the 1:1 care, time and support to my clients and building a good working rapport and connection. This is something I have just completed my training in and aspire to help new and existing moms before, during and postpartum birth whilst promoting a holistic pregnancy 🤰
