I have worked in the field of wildlife management and nature tourism for the past 27 years. My interest in wildlife was ignited during my childhood years, when I spent summers in Melghat Tiger Reserve in India’s western state of Maharashtra. I later worked as a naturalist for the World Wildlife Fund in Pune, and for six years lived and worked as a naturalist in Kanha National Park. As a naturalist and photographer I have traveled extensively across India’s tiger and elephant habitats, including famous safari circuits and lesser-known wilderness areas. Whether I am guiding wildlife groups, diving in coral reefs, or skiing in the Himalayas, I feel at home in all terrain. I am very passionate about photography and realized a childhood dream a few years ago when I visited Africa’s Masai Mara. In 2017, I used my conservation and wildlife knowledge on a month-long stint to explore the northeastern rainforests of India. When I am not engaged in conservation issues, I enjoy introducing people to what I believes is the most fascinating wildlife landscape anywhere—India’s tiger land. I truly believes that the urban man has lost touch with nature and I strongly feel that educating and helping people reconnect with nature will go a long way in invoking the spirit of awareness and conservation. I love connecting with people for discussing and organizing travel plans to India. FOLLOW ME ON MY INSTAGRAM PAGE AND GET TO KNOW SOME UNKNOWN DESTINATIONS.
