MD @ Flat6Labs Beirut I am responsible for the operations and strategy of the Seed Program and manage the selection process of startups to be inducted into the accelerator program. I enjoy building relationships and establishing partnerships with local and international partners to support our startups and the overall tech ecosystem. Over the last nine years while heading digital and strategy at Grey Middle East and North Africa, I have helped launch, rebrand and manage online channels for the world's leading brands including Nokia, Visa, Danone and Pantene. As a key member of the new business team, I focused on integrated marketing and communications strategies to help optimize client budget and maximize campaign exposure. I have a strong creative background and solid strategic and marketing experience across telecom, blue chip, nutrition, FMCG, hospitality and banking. Earlier, for 4 years at Leo Burnett Dubai, I was responsible for designing and developing the first online Arabic presence for brands including Nokia, General Motors, Kraft Foods, Kellogg’s and Philip Morris I’m also a Khatt Foundation board member, exploring technologies that support the Center for Arabic Typography's mission to build cross-cultural creative networks and advance design and typography. I'm a hardcore geek with a house that's constantly in beta. Founded The Next Web Middle East and was its Editor until 2011.
