I’m a programme maker and strategic consultant in the field of fashion and design. I believe that the cultural domain is a safe space in which valuable and viable ideas that help create a better world can blossom. With this vision in mind, in 2017 I joined State of Fashion, a cultural platform that explores an urgently needed new fashion system, as their Head of Programme. Here, I co-founded Taskforce Fashion, a coalition between three Dutch fashion platforms, that encourages the transformative role of fashion in working on societal issues in cities. Since 2019, I’m also advisor of De Wasserij, a hub for sustainable fashion in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
