I am well known because of INGLÊS NA PONTA DA LÍNGUA website. However... ... I’m a specialist in methods and approaches in English Language Teaching. I’ve worked as a teacher-trainer/key speaker with Oxford University Press, Macmillan Dictionary, Richmond, Pearson Longman and some Brazilian universities as well as with some English Language Teachers’ associations across the country. Although I’ve never been to an English-speaking country to learn English or taken any English language course, I became one of the major references in English Language Teaching in Brazil. In short, 🧠 I started learning English by myself in 1989 🧑🏻‍🏫 I’ve been teaching English since 1993 👨‍🎓 I’ve been researching and writing about Lexical Acquisition, Lexical Approach, Formulaic Language, Collocations since 1997 🚀 I’ve been and ELT influencer since 2000 (teacher trainer) ✍ I am the author of 3 books* published with Altabooks 💻 I’ve been teaching and providing content online for teacher and learners of English since 2005 Inglês na Ponta da Língua, which is the title of my first book, is also the name of my website. Inglês na Ponta da Língua has been online since 2007 and it is one of the major and oldest websites in English Language teaching/learning in Brazil. It has helped tens of thousands of learners and teachers. It also got a prize for being the best linguistic/cultural website in Brazil.
