(They/She) 🌈 Professional Psychotherapist. Psychoanalytic and Person-Centered models. Educator. Neurodivergent with ADHD, and quite liking it. 🙃 Grounded to my here and now as much as I can be. The meditation helps with practice. Mental health conversations can crop up anywhere. Clubhouse can be a great place to spark them. :) Just a few things to keep in mind: 📌Clubhouse conversations, specifically in the mental health domain, DO NOT count as therapy. 📌Therapy is a safe space that is created privately, in a manner that individually caters to the person seeking therapy. Therefore, therapy cannot and should not be administered over a public social platform such as Clubhouse. 📌The conversations I engage in here have only a social and educational context. If I talk to you here, I am not your therapist. 📌 Ethically, I will not be able to follow you here or be speaking with you in the same room, if I am or eventually become your therapist (given the right circumstances of course). 📌I love questions, but please don’t ask me for advice about specific scenarios, in case you find yourself struggling with serious mental health conditions/situations/illnesses. I do not believe in offering generic advice, especially on social media. The most I may ever do, will likely involve simply the sharing of my own experiences. Exploring Clubhouse is an evolving experience, so it’s completely possible that I accidentally visit some not-very-nice rooms. Needless to say, room attendance here on Clubhouse, does not imply endorsement. If you’re just a bit patient with me, I suppose a truly collaborative, social audio experience is just around the corner. 👀 Hoping to speak with you somewhere along the way, and soon! 🙃 Thanks for reading this far.
