June Daguiso the Founder of MJD Productions Company & Hollywood in Washington, DC Talk show. He is a writer, producer, director & Martial Artist. He retired from teaching Martial arts over 20 years ago after teaching for over a decade in the DC-Maryland & Virginia area. He is ranked in the top 20 in the Fighting, Kata, and Weapon categories when he competed in the National circuit under North American Sport Karate Association. He also just retired from working in the Law firm where he worked for over 37 years. June started producing action-drama films in 2006 and his first 2 feature films, Full Circle and Collide got nominated several times for Grammy under Frank Cisco’s musical composition. June’s last action-drama film,” Saving Ana also got accepted and approved at this year’s Oscar for the best original song in the soundtrack “Missing Children” written and composed by Dennis Walter Smith. June has written over 50 films and now currently working on another 3 films and TV series. In 2009, June Daguiso, a resident of Virginia, began building what would become the World Music & Independent Film Festival (WMIFF). His mission and objective were to create a platform not only for the DC, Maryland, and Virginia indie filmmakers but also to provide a platform of achievements for international cinema artists." Since its early beginnings in 2010, WMIFF has continued promoting filmmakers and musicians to a global audience.
