Those words crushed me… You see, I was born different–without a jaw. The bones of my face just didn’t grow, while all the rest body was growing.So with years, I was looking like an adult, having a traumatized face of a baby. As a result of my health condition and the plenty of surgeries that I had, I have had unhealthy-looking teeth, an untypical shape of my face, and quite a few scarves on it. As you can imagine, quite a few people used to see me as less worthy. So, as more bullies, heartbreaks, and rejections I was experiencing, as more 𝗜 𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗠𝗬 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗗 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙, 𝗦𝗢 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗬 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗜 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗛𝗜𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 I just didn’t believe that somebody will ever love me or that I even deserved to be loved for the way I look (that’s what I recently found written in my diary of age 10).
