Christine graduated from New York University Film School and worked in film and television production in the US and UK before joining London Sotheby’s International Realty in 2009, which was in the process of expanding across the United Kingdom. She was the brokerage’s first Head of Global Referrals and Relocation at UKSIR, and handled more referrals than any other Sotheby’s International Realty affiliate that year. Christine “grew up” with real estate -her mother Pat Petersen started as an agent at Daniel Gale Real Estate serving Long Island’s “Gold Coast”, when Christine was a child, eventually becoming the President & CEO. Pat Petersen grew the brokerage from 2 offices to 24 during her 25+ years running the company. Daniel Gale was the #1 broker partner to Sotheby’s International Realty for many years and became a SIR affiliate when the company was bought by Realogy. Christine left London to join Daniel Gale SIR in 2013 as the Head of Global Referrals, Relocation and Corporate Alliances. In 2022- a stellar year for real estate across the country- the department closed 110% more business (sales volume) than the prior year, and Christine and her team continue to bring in and place more referrals all over the world than the department did pre-pandemic. Additionally she is responsible for making alliances with businesses and organizations of all kinds, offering them the luxury service across all price points that Sothebys International Realty is known for. DanielGale SIR turned 100 years old in 2022 and currently has 900+ salespeople working from our 27 offices covering markets including the North Shore of Long Island, the Hamptons, Brooklyn and Queens.
