I am an Iranian author, and politician. My engagement in political activism in the city of the Qom ultimately led to 2009 arrest. My activism have primarily focused on issues of gender equality and women's rights. I studied medicine at the Arak University of Medical Sciences and currently live in the United States and teach human Physiology and Anatomy in NOVA Colleges in Virginia. I published Sex and Democracy and the Hermeneutics of peace.
