✊🏿✊🏿I am Dwayne “Big Daddy” Thompson owner, operator and creator of Big Daddy Sauces LLC.   I and my family are survivors of Hurricane Katrina.  After the horrific storm in Louisiana, I set up residency MM M in Birmingham, AL.   I have since moved to Alabaster, AL a short drive south of Birmingham. My history in the kitchen began as a 6-year-old preparing breakfast and lunch for my mother as she worked two jobs to support me, and afford me the opportunity to gain access to a costly private school education.   My experience with competition cooking has focused mainly on sauce categories.  My goal is to alert the world to Big Daddy Sauces’ unique and distinct flavor.  And to let everyone know what it means when they hear “Sauce Like A Boss”.   If I am fortunate to win the competition I plan to advance my brand and expose it to the world.  I also hope to demonstrate that I am a great sauce maker and competitive grill master.
