Apostle Dr. Charmaine Powell is a 45-year-old native of Miami, Florida. Relocated to Gainesville, FL. She served as an Evangelist from 2002-2015. God then called her and her husband to start an outreach ministry. Greater Deliverance Outreach Ministries, Inc., which has been established since 2014. She was elevated to the office of Prophetess by the direction of the Holy Ghost in 2015. She was ordained and called by God as an Apostle of God, to teach, train and lead leaders for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. Her ministry is now called, New Birth Apostolic Global Ministries. Through her ministry, she has an ordination program where she trains and raises Christian Leaders through leadership training in the fivefold arena. She has overcome a life of sexual abuse, depression, suicidal, fornication, low self-esteem, bitterness, rejection and brokenness. Dr. Charmaine has also been a writer/author since her childhood. She is a best-selling author and currently has 8 published books and climbing. She helps other people to write and publish their books. It is not just a business to her; it is her ministry. January 2019, God gave her the vision of Diamonds in the Rough, where every woman shines. It started as a book project to give other women a platform to become a published author and tell their powerful testimonies. But the vision is much greater than that. It is designed to minister to the broken women through healing retreats, mentorship, and leadership training. The healing retreats are important because it will help them through their healing process. She also provides mentorship and counselling to those that are in need, who are dealing with various issues. She received an Honorary Doctorate of Ministry from Trinity Theological Seminary of South Florida. She is an entrepreneur of various small businesses.
