The Great Commission is written in all 4 gospels. Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Luke 24:47 [And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. John 20:23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained. The great Commission was given by Jesus to the apostles. It was a command meant for them to fulfill and that fulfillment took place in Acts 2:38. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
